In Sync Action Plans Stage Stars Preschool Dance Lesson Plans
“Stage Stars” is a theme-based lesson plan series set up for a 6-week mini-session of preschool musical theater! The plans are broken down class-by-class and the structure of the class, the warm-up routine and the goodbye routine remain consistent through each week. All other activities within each week will correlate with the weekly theme. This creates the perfect balance of consistency and variety, which is beneficial for the preschool age group

MEET THE CREATIVE TEAM:
Hannah Duquette – Author of Stage Stars (along with me!) Hannah grew up dancing with a local dance academy and later joined their competition team. In high school, she was awarded The National Choral Award for her excellence in vocal performance. Hannah is a graduate of Massasoit Community College in Massachusetts and enjoyed performing with her college’s musical theater program. She has since performed with Disney’s Dance the World and has attended dance workshops. Hannah is excited to combine her love for dance, performing, and teaching to help foster a fun and exciting learning experience through our Stage Stars lesson plan!
Teri and Amy oversee the creation of the “Stars” lesson plans. They have been working together at In Sync Center of the Arts for over 15 years. During that time, they have fine-tuned their preschool program to a well-oiled machine that has enriched the lives of thousands of preschoolers and they’re finally offering it to you! This is exactly the program they use in their studio and they have seen its success first-hand!
Teri Mangiaratti is the owner and director of In Sync Center of the Arts in Quincy MA, currently serving over 1,600 students and 30 staff members. In addition to studio ownership, she is honored to be included among the speaking staff at Dance Life Retreat Center and Dance Life Teachers Conference. Amy has worked together with Teri to watch this dream of their lesson plans being taught all over the world come true! When Amy isn’t teaching her studio children, she is spending time with her own young children, Claire and Noah!
