To the Pointe: Beyond Exercises

Become a Confident Pointe Teacher who is secure in their ability to guide students safely and completely through the transformation to pointe work.

This course will forever shift your thinking of how to prepare students for safe pointe work.   No more missing pieces!  And, as the title implies, this course goes BEYOND EXERCISES.

It is full of Ideas, Concepts and Strategies NOT found in any other training courses.

Application of all ideas and concepts will be explored through numerous exercises and activities to use with your students.

The creation of the content comes not only from decades of professional experience, but extensive complimentary training that few dance teachers possess in particular:

  1. Rhythmic Movement Training (Reflex Integration)
  2. Brain Gym
  3. The Franklin Method

Areas of Content in the Course

This course has many layers of content that will be shared in easy to digest chunks.

In studio application will be demonstrated with real students performing the exercises and activities.

There is a good cross section of levels and body/foot types.

Each of the 6 Key Areas outlined below will be built upon week to week.

From the very first lesson, you will have concepts and exercises to use immediately in studio with your students.

\Key Areas:
